Washington DC Film Society’s Oscar Watching Party

Join The DC Movie Guys, Joe Barber and Bill Henry,as they host the Washington DC Film Society’s Oscar Watching Party at the Arlington Cinema and Drafthouse in Arlington, Va. on Sunday, February 22, 2009. For the seventh year in a row, the Guys will offer their thoughts on the proceedngs while you get to watch them on the theater’s big screen. You’ll aso be able to enjoy all sorts of food and drinks at your seat. The Drafthouse has expanded its menu and also has a sit down restaurant just off the lobby.
Attendees can win valuable movie related prizes in raffles and by answering trivia questions. You can also participate in a silent auction for items like hotel stays and much more. All funds raised go towards supporting FilmFest DC, the District’s annual International Film Festival, now in its third decade.
