D.C. Movie Guys move to Silver Spring Borders
by Bill Henry on Feb.10, 2006, under Appearances
Greeting D.C. Movie Guys fans,
Thank you, everyone, for supporting the D.C. Movie Guys discussion group at the Columbia, MD Borders®. We are sorry to report that Borders® will no longer host our meeting at the Columbia store effective immediately. However, Borders® is not ending its relationship with Joe Barber and Bill Henry. They have decided to host the D.C. Movie Guys at the Silver Spring Borders® instead. We realize some of you may not be able to make the longer trip and wish to thank you for your many years of support. Joe and Bill have greatly enjoyed your film comments, personal stories and your company and hope you will visit them in Silver Spring when you can. We also invite you to continue passing along your thoughts and movie notes through email and the DCMovieguys.com website.
The new home for Joe Barber and Bill Henry, the D.C. Movie Guys, is the Borders® of Silver Spring, MD. Joe and Bill will be appearing there February, 23 at 8:00 PM and every fourth Thursday of the month thereafter. You can expect the same great reviews, free movie passes and the occasional edge of your seat thrill of wondering if Bill and Joe will reenact a scene from Fight Club.
The address for the new Borders movie group is
Borders of Silver Spring
8518 Fenton Street
Silver Spring, MD 20910
Phone:301.585.0550
You all have our most sincere thanks for allowing us to share our movie going experiences with you in Columbia. Please keep up with us at DCMovieguys.com as Joe and Bill may be popping up in other places around the D.C. area in the coming year. We hope to see you in Silver Spring, but if not, please say hi if you see us at the movies.
Thanks again and we’ll see you in Silver Spring,
Joe Barber
Bill Henry
and everyone at DCMovieGuys.com
